On a hill at the gates of La Vall Farrera rises the village of Tírvia, crossing of old ways and passage of the Last Cathar, Guillem de Belibaste. Pallares is a border land that, over the centuries, people have seen passing through mountain ports, often through trade relations with neighboring counties, but also to avoid persecution.
